(Function and Responsibilities)
Function and Responsibilities
School of Pharmacy, Chouksey Engineering College, Bilaspur, has formulated and implemented the Anti-Ragging Committee since its establishment for the sole purpose of completely preventing/stopping the ragging on the campus.
The duty and responsibilities of the Anti-Ragging Committee is as follows:
- To ensure strict compliance with the AICTE Regulations and the provisions of any otherLaw in force concerning the prohibition of ragging.
- To monitor and oversee the performance of the Anti-Ragging Squad in preventing raggingin the institution.
- Strict compliance with anti-ragging measures/practices has ensured the absolute absenceof ragging, and no case has ever been recorded.
The duty and responsibilities of the Anti-Ragging Squad is as follows:
- To make surprise inspections of hostels, students’ accommodations, messes, restrooms,and other areas vulnerable to incidents of ragging.
- To take any measure to prevent ragging by ensuring the communication of punishments. If involved in ragging directly or indirectly.
- To display the anti-ragging posters at all prominent places on the campus.
- To make aware of the Anti-Ragging helplines and websites, and anti-ragging monitoringAgencies.
- To proceed ahead, take legal action as per the law in case of offense pertaining to theRagging.
